In re Hall v. Rent-A-Center, Inc., Civil No. 4:16-CV-00978-ALM-CMC
Court-appointed Lead Plaintiff, Oklahoma Firefighters Pension and Retirement System (“Oklahoma Firefighters” or “Lead Plaintiff”) and named plaintiff, City of Hollywood Employees’ Retirement Fund (“Hollywood ERF,” together with Lead Plaintiff, “Plaintiffs”), on behalf of themselves and the other members of the Settlement Class (defined below), have reached a proposed settlement of the Action in the amount of $11,000,000 cash that, if approved, will resolve all claims in the Action.
If you are a member of the Settlement Class, your rights will be affected and you may be eligible for a payment from the Settlement. The Settlement Class consists of:
All persons and entities that purchased or otherwise acquired the publicly traded common stock of Rent-A-Center, Inc., during the period from February 2, 2015 through October 10, 2016, inclusive (the “Class Period”), and who were allegedly damaged thereby, except for certain persons and entities who are excluded from the Settlement Class (see FAQ 7).
If you are a member of the Settlement Class, in order to be potentially eligible to receive a payment under the proposed settlement, you must submit a Claim Form no later than May 2, 2019. Payments to Authorized Claimants will be made only if the Court approves the Settlement and a Plan of Allocation, and only after any appeals are resolved, and after the completion of all claims processing. Please be patient, as this process will take some time to complete.
